Michelle believes in using a total communication approach to therapy by combining varied treatment methods to each individual client.
Michelle received her Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders from New York University in 2010. Prior to attending graduate school, she received her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Stockton University. Michelle treats individuals of all ages from toddlers to adults. She has experience working with individuals with a variety of needs, including articulation and phonology disorders, receptive and expressive language delays and disorders, fluency disorders, social skills, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Michelle has 8 years of experience working in a special education school that followed the Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) model as well as homecare through NJ Early Intervention. Michelle believes in using a total communication approach to therapy by combining varied treatment methods to each individual client. Michelle is PROMPT trained and has long term experience with the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) as well as varied Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
Michelle holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice speech-language pathology in the state of New Jersey.
