Lucy Ramos, M.S., CCC-SLP
Throughout her career, Lucy has gained experience in varied areas of speech and language therapy.
Lucy received her Master degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Seton Hall University. Prior to receiving her Master degree, she majored in and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Towson University in Maryland.
Lucy began her career working with adults in a skilled nursing facility in the areas of feeding/swallowing, acquired expressive and receptive language disorders, and acquired cognitive disorders. She then began to practice early intervention and loved the idea of learning through play so much, she decided to focus solely on working with children and moved on to a school setting. Throughout her career, Lucy has gained experience in varied areas of speech and language therapy including articulation and phonology disorders, expressive and receptive language disorders, fluency, Autism Spectrum disorders, oral motor, and AAC. Lucy is PROMPT Level I and PECS Level I trained. Lucy holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), is licensed to practice speech-language pathology in the state of New Jersey, and has her Speech Language Specialist (SLS) certification from the state of New Jersey.
