Christina Barkachi, M.S., CCC-SLP
Christina embraces different cultures and enjoys working with families to bridge skills from the clinic to homes.
Christina received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from New York Medical College. She treats individuals of all ages, from toddlers to adults. Christina has varied experience working with clients in the following areas: feeding and swallowing; articulation and phonology; receptive and expressive language; voice; fluency disorders (stuttering); autism spectrum disorder; and acquired cognitive disorders. Through her experience, she has developed a special interest in sensory and oral motor-based feeding disorders.
Christina is an English-Arabic bilingual speaker. She embraces different cultures and enjoys working with families to bridge skills learned at the clinic to clients’ home and school environments. She strives to think critically to develop individualized treatment plans that focus on the ‘whole client’ and the ‘whole family’ to ensure a path for success.
Christina holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice speech-language pathology in the state of New Jersey.
